Prior to applying to being accepted to Auckland University of Technology I had to create a portfolio of work which indicated that I had some basic understanding of form and how to design with purpose. I was particularly enamoured by electric transportation systems at the time which gave me the idea to conceptually analyse two wheeled forms. Sketching and rapid prototyping was essential to the process providing the early form language of the design. Armed with my iPad and Shapr3D I learned the fundamental basics of CAD where I could experiment with components and their relationship with the overall form.
